Interior Design Studio
Hedda Pier is an interior designer with a passion for art, architecture and craftsmanship. Exacting about spatial planning and practical, as well as aesthetic, detailing, she draws on many years of experience working on-site with builders and tradespeople to refine the studio’s designs. Hedda is an adept project manager with an expansive knowledge of the field and a solid network of trusted suppliers. Her youth spent in France, Africa and the United Kingdom, and an innate appreciation and knowledge of iconic design and influential art movements, enable her to craft and maintain a strong, unique, creative vision throughout each project the studio takes on.
As one of the founders of Avenue Design Studio, a successful interior design studio started in 2017 with Holly Marder, Hedda achieved recognition internationally with features in interior design publications across the globe. Now focusing on her own eponymous studio, she looks to take on projects with inspired clients that will encourage her to push boundaries, challenge the status quo and to design lasting (custom) solutions for their spaces.
Hedda Pier Studio firmly believes that the key to reducing the environmental footprint of any project is rooted in timeless designs, using reclaimed building materials, sourcing antique and vintage pieces and choosing high quality products from well informed suppliers. Sustainability is always a consideration in our projects.
In her personal life, Hedda is an avid art collector as well as a keen art student, whenever possible, she paints, often oil portraits of women, in her atelier above the design studio.
